Build A Golem Luck and Rolls

Luck starts at zero. Buy a miner first, then pay for better shop rolls.

Luck and Rolls

The luck number in the bottom-left HUD is easy to ignore because it sits next to $0. Ignore it too long and you spend RELEASE on an endless dirt shop. Obsess over it too early and you own 20% luck with no golem, which means offline pays nothing. This page is the split.

What luck does

Luck weights the shop toward rarer families: mixed glow, crystal, dark-crystal. It does not raise the $/s of a miner you already parked. It does not skip Time. It does not redeem codes. It only changes what appears when you roll.

At 0% you should expect tutorial dirt. That is not a bug. The left half of the official thumbnail is the 0% experience.

Spend order

  1. Complete any miner and park it. Getting started if you have not.
  2. Put a little Cash into luck so the next refresh is not identical mud.
  3. When a glowing core appears, buy the core even if luck is still low. A visible S-tier piece beats a luck upgrade you cannot cash in this session.
  4. After a mixed climber is walking, funnel more into luck so crystal sets become realistic.

Never dump the entire 75k into luck on minute one. You will screenshot a higher percent and still have empty plots.

Rolling discipline

  • Roll after you can afford to buy what you want. Window shopping at $200 is how you tilt.
  • If the shop is four D-tier duplicates, do not “just buy one.” Check Index and skip.
  • If the shop is a crystal core you can afford, buy it. Do not reroll hoping for a full set in one refresh.
  • Stop rolling when Cash hits the price of a new plot that would multiply your current miner. Plots are luck-independent power.

Luck versus Time Skip

THANKS advances mining time. Luck advances shop quality. Use the skip on a parked body. Use luck when you are about to sit at the shop. They do not substitute.

Robux Starter Packs may contain parts, which bypasses a roll. That is a purchase, not a luck strategy. Redeem free codes first.

Scripts and luck

Auto Roll exists on community scripts listed under scripts. Auto rolling at 0% with auto buy on will vacuum dirt. If you automate, cap buys to missing slots or to families Index has not filled. Otherwise you recreate the D-tier pile this wiki keeps telling you to sell.

Measuring whether luck worked

Do not trust the percent. Trust the shop: did a glowing family appear in the last handful of refreshes? If yes, luck is doing its job. If no, you may still be too early in the upgrade curve — keep the dirt miner running and try again after an offline payout.

There is no published formula for how much percent equals one extra crystal roll. Anyone quoting “+12% luck = 8.4% crystal” at launch is inventing numbers. We will add math when developers or a large Index sample provide it. Until then, the rule is boring and correct: miner first, luck second, crystal core whenever it shows up.

For what to snap when a good roll finally lands, open how to build and golem builds. If two glowing cores appear in one refresh, buy both only when you already have two plots; otherwise buy one and bank the rest.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for rolling parts, crafting golems, and claiming cash.

Does luck increase mining speed?

No. Luck only changes shop rolls. Parked parts decide Cash/s.

Should I max luck before crafting?

No. Craft a dirt miner first so offline ticks fund later luck.

Why is the shop all dirt?

0% luck plus launch-week commons. Keep a miner parked and upgrade luck in small buys.

Do codes raise luck?

Launch codes give Cash or Time Skip, not luck percent.
