Getting Started in Build A Golem

Roll a body, snap it on the stone crafter, and start the $5/s dirt miner the right way.

Getting Started

Your first Build A Golem session should end with a complete miner on a plot and leftover Cash in the bank — not a pile of unmatched legs. This walkthrough covers the tutorial, the two launch codes, the crafter in front of spawn, and the first plot. It is written for the mining tycoon by mesmerizing (really), place 78091651370612, not Build a Golem Army.

Load-in and tutorial

Join from the Roblox game page. Servers hold up to six players. Voice chat is off. After the world streams, a short tutorial points you at rolling, buying, and the crafter. Finish it. The gear, Shop, Index, and Rewards icons appear when the HUD is live.

You spawn on a tiled floor in front of a stone arch with cyan lights. Dirt-and-grass parts float in a ring over a raised disc — that disc is the crafter. Wooden fences and lanterns sit to the sides. If you see castle spawners instead, you launched the Army game.

Claim Cash before you roll

Open Settings with the top-left gear and redeem RELEASE (75,000 Cash) and THANKS (15-minute Time Skip) using the how to redeem steps. Do THANKS after a golem is placed. RELEASE can be claimed immediately so the shop is not empty.

The right-hand Starter Pack and Time Skip (5M) cost 8 Robux each on the launch HUD. Skip both until you understand mining. Free Cash from RELEASE is the real starter pack.

Roll, buy, do not hoard junk

Cash buys parts that appear from luck rolls. You need a head, torso, two arms, two legs — a full puppet. Dirt/grass pieces are the tutorial tier. They look like the left half of the official thumbnail: brown body, moss hair, flower bits, green core, about $5/s. Buy a complete dirt set if that is all the shop shows. Do not buy three heads.

Luck starts at 0% in the bottom-left. Rolling without luck upgrades is how you stay on dirt. Read luck after this session, not during the first crafter snap.

Open Index (book icon) after a few rolls. It is your collection log. If a part is already checked, you can sell extras instead of clogging inventory. Details sit on the Index hub.

Snap on the crafter

Walk onto the glowing platform. Assemble every slot. A body with no legs will not walk into the mine. The how to build page covers failed snaps and selling leftovers. When the golem stands up, assign it to an open ore plot.

Watch the Cash per second. Dirt is slow on purpose. The thumbnail’s crystal golem at huge $/s is the carrot. You get there by replacing limbs, not by standing still.

First plot and first skip

Place the miner. Confirm Cash is ticking. Then claim THANKS if you have not used the skip yet. Fifteen minutes of dirt is still fifteen minutes you did not sit through.

Rewards on the left may hold a playtime gift. Claim it. It is not a promo code.

First log-off

Golems work offline. Leave the best body on a plot. Do not dismantle it to “save parts.” When you return, spend the idle Cash on one better limb or one upgrade, then check codes in case a new key dropped.

If the shop is still all dirt after RELEASE, you are not broken — luck has not been upgraded. Follow golem builds for the next body instead of panic-rolling.

That is the first session: codes, full set, crafter, plot, skip, log off. Everything else on this wiki assumes those six beats already happened.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for rolling parts, crafting golems, and claiming cash.

What do I do first in Build A Golem?

Finish the tutorial, redeem RELEASE, buy a full part set, and assemble it on the crafter.

How much Cash does RELEASE give?

75,000 Cash. THANKS is a 15-minute Time Skip, not Cash.

Can I skip the dirt golem?

Only if the shop already rolled better parts. Otherwise dirt teaches the crafter and starts offline ticks.

Is this the same as Build a Golem Army?

No. Army is a combat tycoon. This game is roll-craft-mine with offline earn.
