Build A Golem Parts Tier List
Buy a full set first. Then replace the dullest limb, not the loudest roll.
Parts are the whole game. You roll them, buy them, snap them, and they define Cash/s. This list ranks families you can see in official media and in the Index, not a fake 200-item spreadsheet. Pair it with golem builds when you are ready to rebuild the whole puppet.
Slot priority
- Torso / core — the glow in the chest. Dirt cores stay green and quiet. Crystal cores blaze. Upgrade this before hats.
- Legs — the miner has to walk into the plot. Bad legs waste a good core.
- Arms — pickaxe energy. The icon miner holds a pick; treat arms as the tool slot.
- Head — last unless Index shows a set you can complete immediately.
A crystal head on a dirt core is a costume. A crystal core on dirt legs is a real upgrade with a cap. Spend RELEASE Cash on the core if the shop offers one.
Family ranks
Crystal (S)
Cyan shards, bright energy, thumbnail right side. Highest advertised $/s. Park these. Do not dismantle for fun. If you roll a crystal core at low luck, buy it even if the rest of the shop is mud.
Dark crystal / flower stone (A)
The icon body: black stone, purple crystal blooms, pickaxe, triangle rune. Treat any dark glowing family as above dirt even if you have not seen every Index name yet. These are the “I logged off and came back rich” looks.
Mixed glow (B)
One or two crystal slots on a dirt frame. Keep them. Replace remaining mud using the slot priority above. Do not sell the crystal piece to “unify the set” if it is your only glow.
Dirt / grass (C)
Brown clay, moss, flowers, green core, ~$5/s. Always complete one. Always. Then stop buying extras unless you need a spare offline miner while you rebuild.
Duplicates and junk (D)
Second dirt head, third arm, parts you cannot snap. Sell after Index has logged them. Inventory clog is how people miss a crystal roll they cannot afford because Cash is sitting in junk.
Buying rules after a roll
- If the shop shows a complete C-tier set and you have no miner, buy the set.
- If it shows one S-tier core and you already have a parked C-tier, buy the core.
- If it shows four D-tier duplicates, skip. Reroll only after you read luck.
- Never spend the last Cash that would have unlocked a plot. Plots multiply every miner you already own.
Index hygiene
Open the book icon after every shopping spree. If a part is already checked, extras are sellable. If it is new, keep one. The Index hub explains why collection still matters when you only care about $/s: you cannot buy what you do not recognize.
What we will add later
Named legendaries, mutation suffixes, and exact weights. Those need a developer table or a large Index datamine. Until then, rank with your eyes: mud, mix, glow. That split already decides whether overnight Cash is snack money or island money.
When a patch adds a new family, it will be noted on launch notes and inserted here by observed output, not by YouTube titles. If two families glow, park the higher Cash/s and keep the other as a spare miner instead of fusing them in your head.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for rolling parts, crafting golems, and claiming cash.
Which part should I upgrade first?
Torso/core, then legs, then arms, then head.
Should I buy duplicate dirt arms?
No, unless you have no complete miner at all.
Is the purple icon golem a real part set?
It is official art for a high-tier miner look. Treat glowing dark/crystal families as A/S until named tables exist.
Do codes give parts?
Launch codes give Cash or Time Skip, not a free crystal core.
